Lip commonly with pronounced basal dilation, sometimes lateral margins elaborated along axes, diverging forward and forming lobules, 6–10 mm; spur clavate to slightly capitate, 2–7 mm (markedly shorter than lip), apex obtuse; viscidia linear-oblong to oblong. 2n = 42.

Habitat: Wet meadows, tundra, marshes, fens, stream banks, shores, ditches, seeping slopes, roadsides
Elevation: 0–3700 m
