Leaf blades: margins with rounded teeth, apex obtuse. Leaflike bracts absent, at least in terminal 1/2 of inflorescence. Vertical seeds 0.6–0.9 mm diam.


Phenology: Fruiting late summer–fall.
Habitat: Waste places, especially ± brackish soils
Elevation: 0-300 m
