Leaves triangular, rhombic, or lanceolate, thick, margins serrate, sinuate, or dentate (occasionally ± entire), glabrous. Inflorescences glomerules on compound panicles and lateral spikes. Seeds with margins rounded; seed coat rugulate.

Introduced; Europe, Asia.
