Leaf surfaces mostly glabrous. Styles 0.3–0.5 mm. Follicles slender, 2.5–5 mm. Seeds 1.8–2.5 mm. 2n = 18.


Phenology: Flowering early summer.
Habitat: Moist to wet ravines, rocky ledges, avalanche tracks, stream banks, forest edges and openings
Elevation: 0–4800 m
