Pistillate scales 2.5–3.6 × 1.6–2 mm. perigynia 5–9-veined or veinless adaxially, 3–4.2 × 2–2.6(–3) mm, beak 0.8–1.2 mm.


Phenology: Fruiting late spring–early summer.
Habitat: Dry grasslands, open forests, commonly on sand
Elevation: 10–300 m
