Stems 1.8–3.5(–4.5) dm, moderately to sparsely pubescent proximally, usually glabrous distally. Fruiting pedicels (7–)10–25 mm, usually glabrous (or sometimes with a few scattered trichomes). Fruits (4.5–)7–10 cm. 2n = 14.


Phenology: Flowering Mar–Jun.
Habitat: Rocky areas in woodlands
Elevation: 300-1200 m
