It grows with many other members of the section, most often <i>C. bulbostylis</i>, <i>C. corrugata</i>, <i>C. glaucodea</i>, <i>C. grisea</i>, <i>C. oligocarpa</i>, and <i>C. planispicata</i>.</p>
