|discussion=<p>Diplacus clivicola is known from northern Idaho and immediately adjacent Montana and Oregon. It is similar to typical D. nanus in its strongly bilabiate corollas; it differs in its slightly toothed leaf blade margins, relatively long pedicels, and calyces with cuneate bases.</p>
