Annuals, 10–40+ cm. Leaf blades lanceolate to lance-linear or linear, 25–80+ × 4–18+ mm, lengths 4–8+ times widths, margins ± crenate or entire. Peduncles (1–)2–8+ cm. Outer phyllaries 5, connate 3/5–2/3 their lengths, ovate, 3.5–4.5 mm. Ray florets 8–13; corollas yellow-orange, laminae oblong-elliptic, 2–8+ × 1–2.5+ mm. Disc florets 25–40+. Fruits 2.3–2.8 mm.


Phenology: Flowering Sep–Nov.
Habitat: Openings in pine forests
Elevation: 800–2000+ m
