Leaflet blades 0.5–1.1 cm, sur­faces with appressed hairs 1 mm. Peduncles 4–9 cm, overtopping leaves. 2n = 16.


Phenology: Flowering Apr–Jul.
Habitat: Plateaus.
Elevation: 3000–4000 m.

Discussion

Subspecies monoense is restricted to Inyo and Mono counties in California, and Esmeralda County in Nevada.
